IT Support for Orlando Businesses
Direct engineer access. Transparent pricing. A security framework sized to your business, not a hospital system's.
Let's talk about your IT.
IT Support for Orlando Businesses
Four Winds IT is a Florida technology company headquartered in Sarasota, supporting 300+ businesses across the state. We work with Orlando-area organizations the same way we work with everyone else: start with what the business is trying to do, then build the technology around it.
Here's the honest version of how we serve Central Florida. Most IT work does not require someone standing in your office. Monitoring, security, patching, helpdesk, cloud migrations, and vendor coordination all happen remotely, and that is where the majority of our work gets done regardless of where a client sits. When something genuinely needs hands on hardware, we schedule it and show up. If you need an engineer in your building within the hour, every day, we will tell you that up front and point you toward someone who can do that.
What You Get
Direct engineer access, so you talk to the person fixing your problem instead of an answering service. Transparent pricing, with no hardware markup and an itemized invoice you can actually read. A vendor-agnostic approach backed by 100+ partnerships, so the recommendation fits your situation rather than our margin. And a security framework that scales to the size of your business instead of selling you a hospital system's stack.
Industries We Know
Healthcare practices dealing with HIPAA. Law firms protecting client files. Accounting firms that cannot afford downtime in April. Nonprofits stretching a budget. Manufacturers whose line stops when the ERP does. Construction companies whose crews work from trucks. Whatever your sector, the questions are specific, and we would rather answer them specifically.

What Transparent Pricing Actually Means
Most IT invoices are one bundled line that moves occasionally and nobody can explain. Here is what we do differently, in plain terms you can hold us to.
No hardware markup
You pay what the hardware costs. We make our money on the service, not on reselling you a firewall at a margin you never see.
Microsoft licensing at Microsoft's price
Dollar for dollar, at whatever tier and commitment you choose. Plenty of providers add a few dollars per user per month. On fifty users that is real money you never agreed to.
An itemized invoice
Every security component listed separately with a monthly report behind it. You can see which tier you are paying for, spot two products doing the same job, and check that the user count still matches your headcount.
No setup fees on unlimited support
New devices carry a per-device management fee that scales predictably. No onboarding charge, no surprise project invoice for work that should have been included.
Here's the test, and it works on any provider: ask for a line-item breakdown of your security spend.
If they can't produce one within a day, that's the finding. You don't need to understand endpoint detection to know that's a problem.
Industries We Support in Central Florida
Each one comes with its own compliance requirements, software, and worst-case scenario. Here's where we go deeper.
Healthcare
HIPAA-compliant IT for practices across Orange, Seminole, and Osceola counties. EHR support, patient data security, and the documentation auditors ask for.
Law Firms
Downtown litigation practices to suburban firms. Billable hours protected, client confidentiality maintained, and offboarding that actually closes access.
Accounting Firms
Tax season ready. We support QuickBooks and Sage, keep systems stable through busy season, and never schedule a migration in April.
Nonprofits
Central Florida has a deep nonprofit community. Most qualify for free or discounted Microsoft 365 licensing, and most are not using what they already own.
Financial Services
RIAs, advisors, and planners. Security examiners expect, the documentation custodians ask for, and the callback procedure that stops a fraudulent wire.
Construction
Crews working from trucks and trailers. Procore, Sage, and Foundation support, plus file access that works on a job site instead of only at the office.

Questions Orlando Businesses Ask Us
Including the one about whether distance matters.
You're based in Sarasota. Does that actually work for an Orlando business?
For most businesses, yes, and we would rather be straight about why. The vast majority of IT work is remote no matter where your provider sits: monitoring, security, patching, helpdesk, migrations, vendor escalations. What distance genuinely affects is hands-on hardware work, which we schedule and travel for. If your operation needs someone physically on site multiple times a week, we are not the right fit and we will say so on the first call.
How much does managed IT cost?
Most businesses in the 20-75 employee range invest $150-300 per user per month for fully managed IT including security and support. The range moves based on device count, compliance requirements, and how much of your current environment needs fixing before it needs managing. We quote line by line, so you can see what each piece costs.
What happens if we get hit with ransomware?
Businesses have come to us mid-crisis, locked out of their own systems. We have never failed to recover a client's data. The goal is to prevent it entirely through active monitoring, tested backups, and training, but if the worst happens you want a provider who has been through it before.
We already have an IT provider. Is switching worth the hassle?
We handle the transition, including documenting everything the previous provider never wrote down. One client had the same IT provider for 17 years before switching to us and described the transition as absolutely seamless. If your current provider is working well, keep them. If you cannot get an engineer on the phone, that is worth a conversation.
Do you mark up hardware and licensing?
No. We bill Microsoft licensing at Microsoft's price and hardware at cost. We would rather earn the relationship on the service than skim a few dollars off every license, and it means you can actually audit what you are paying for.
